In addition, it features a 16-core Neural Engine, specially optimized for generative AI models, enabling faster and more efficient AI-driven tasks.
The iPhone 17e comes with a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, offering a peak HDR brightness of 1,200 nits. For screen protection, the device uses Ceramic Shield 2.
The smartphone also supports satellite connectivity. This allows users to access Emergency SOS, roadside assistance, messaging, and Find My services even when mobile networks or Wi-Fi are unavailable.
Pre-orders for the iPhone 17e began on March 4, and the device will be available in the market from March 11.
The phone will come in three colors—black, white, and soft pink with a matte finish.
