To enhance the financial skills of small and medium entrepreneurs and promote financial inclusion, the SME Foundation has organized a special training program titled “Acceleration Program on Financial Literacy for Financial Inclusion of SMEs.”

The program will be held on March 15, 2026 (Sunday) from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the institute building of the SME Foundation located in West Kafrul, Dhaka.

The training session will take place at Zahir Smart Tower (4th Floor), 205/1 & 205/1/A, West Kafrul, Begum Rokeya Sarani, Taltola, Dhaka-1207.

According to the organizers, the program will cover several important topics related to financial management and business operations for entrepreneurs. These include:

  • Financial planning for entrepreneurs
  • Preparing organizational budgets
  • Basic concepts of accounting management
  • How to obtain bank loans
  • Preparing loan application documents
  • Digital banking
  • Introduction to various schemes of the SME Foundation and Bangladesh Bank

The SME Foundation said that interested entrepreneurs must apply by filling out the designated online form by March 13, 2026. Initially selected participants will be contacted later.

The main objective of the program is to strengthen the small and medium enterprise sector by increasing entrepreneurs’ financial knowledge and skills, according to the SME Foundation.
